Pakistan again violates ceasefire, heavy firing on in J&K’s Poonch
Jammu: As a matter of routine, the Pakistani Army resorted to unprovoked firing at the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch sector of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday morning.
According to Defence Ministry sources, the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling on the LoC using small arms, automatics and mortars to target Indian positions.
Sources said that the ceasefire violation by the Pakistani Army started at 5.30 am.
“Indian Army is retaliating effectively,” said sources adding that till reports last came in, the firing exchanges were on.
