Army foils infiltration bid in J&K’s Keran sector, four Pak terrorists killed
Srinagar: Four terrorists were gunned down late on Sunday night when security forces foiled a major infiltration bid along the Line of Control (LoC) in north Kashmir’s Keran sector in Kupwara district.
According to Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia, a major infiltration bid from across the LoC was foiled by the Army troops in Keran sector late on Sunday night and in the ensuing encounter four Pak terrorists were gunned down.
All the neutralised terrorists were in Pakistan Army fatigue.
The defence spokesman said that a search operation was still on in the area.
No causalities were reported from the Indian side in the attack, added the defence official.
