Civilian killed, 3 injured as terrorists attack police party in J&K’s Pulwama
New Delhi: A civilian was killed and a paramilitary CRPF jawan was injured on Friday in a grenade attack by terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama town.
According to a senior police official, terrorists lobed a grenade at a security force party in Muran Chowk of Pulwama town, injuring a civilian, Muhammad Ayoub Wani, who later succumbed to his injuries.
However, the injured paramilitary jawan, identified as Constable Daljit Kiran of 182 battalion of CRPF, was shifted to hospital where his condition is stated to be stable.
The police official said that besides the CRPF jawan, two other were also injured and later shifted to a hospital for treatment.
It may be mentioned here that this was the second such attack in the last eight days.
Immediately after the attack on the security forces party, an intensive search operation was launched to nab the terrorists responsible for the act, added the police official.
