Terrorists kill PDP worker, injure two others in J&K’s Pulwama
Srinagar: Terrorists active in the Kashmir valley killed a ruling Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) worker and injured two others in Pulwama district for being actively associated with mainstream politics in the state.
According to a senior police official, terrorists barged into the house of Bashir Ahmad Dar, 45, in Rajpora area of Pulwama district late Saturday evening and resorted to indiscriminate firing, killing Dar on the spot.
The police official said that Dar died on the spot and another person was greviously injured.
He further said, “terrorist had earlier fired at another person identified as Altaf Ahmad Dar near the local bus stand. Altaf sustained a bullet injury in his leg and his recuperating in a hospital.”
Both Bashir Ahmad Dar and Altaf Ahmad were workers of the ruling PDP and as per diktat of terrorists active in the valley, locals have been warned to keep away for mainstream political parties and work only for “Azadi”, added the police official.
